YOGA

Yoga, a Sanskrit word meaning union, is the combination of physical exercise, breath work and meditation intended to integrate the mind and body. In recent studies, yoga programs have been shown to benefit the immune system, assist in pain management, and reduce the risk of heart disease by lowering blood pressure and anxiety. OMBE's yoga classes provide a welcoming atmosphere for students of all levels. Our yoga instructors encourage students to develop their strength, flexibility and balance as well as a deeper sense of relaxation. Private yoga sessions are designed for clients with specific health conditions, those new to yoga, and for advanced students developing their practice.

OMBE's green yoga studio features eco-friendly yoga mats, bamboo yoga props, organic cotton blankets, and bolsters. We offer regular Hatha and Vinyasa yoga classes as well as a foundation class for beginners. Our prenatal yoga classes offer women an opportunity to learn poses throughout their pregnancy and develop relaxation techniques. All of our Back Bay yoga classes are limited to six participants ensuring that each student receives individual instruction. Please visit the classes page to view our current yoga schedule. We are also happy to announce to all of our clients and yoga enthusiasts that we are finally selling the PVC-free yoga mats that have been a huge hit in our Back Bay yoga studio.
