NEW! OMBE Introduces Life Coaching

From the desk of Jessica L. Molleur, Lic.Ac., DNBAO... OMBE is happy to welcome Nicole Trincia, CLC, LMT and life coaching to its integrative health services.  This spring, visit OMBE and schedule a complimentary intro session with Nicole to learn more about her practice!  New to life coaching?  We recently asked Nicole to answer some of the most common questions clients have about life coaching:

Q:What is a Life Coach?

A: Each Life Coach offers a unique gift, as do you.  It is important to find a Life Coach who is going to meet your needs.  Here is my approach:  I am a Mind Freer and a Joy Seeker.  I help smart and passionate people create brilliance, balance, and bliss in their body, business and life.  I will help you get clear about what you want, so you may start living THE LIFE YOU WANT.

Q: What Does a Life Coaching Session Look Like?

A: Life Coaching sessions are typically 50 minutes in duration.  They are conducted in person or via phone or Skype. We may start with a mind-body grounding technique. I will listen. We will  identify your challenges and or limiting beliefs and explore powerful inquiry, confronting those limiting beliefs that are holding you back from manifesting what you desire. We will examine your behavioral habits and brainstorm alternative options. I will offer tools and fun home exercises to support you in between visits. We will identify fulfilling rewards, positively reinforcing you each step to success!

Q: I’m Not Local, or Otherwise Prefer to Connect Remotely- May I Still Work With You?

A: YES!  Life Coaching sessions are commonly and effectively conducted via phone or Skype, from the comfort and convenience of your home, out in nature, or at work. I simply ask that you be in a quiet place where you may dedicate your full attention to our session and not be distracted or interrupted.

Q: How is Life Coaching Different from Counseling.  What if I’m Also Receiving Counseling?

A: Life Coaching is an application of Positive Psychology that focuses on the present and moving forward.  It is typically most appropriate for those who have identified their challenges and are ready to take action, or who are at least open and able to doing so.  It IS okay to be receiving counseling for one aspect of your life, and Coaching for another.  Just communicate with both your Therapist and Life Coach about your mutual, but exclusive commitments.

Q: Is Life Coaching Right for Me?

A: Do you long for something more, but aren’t quite sure what it is?  Do you know what you want, but just aren’t sure of how to get it or are afraid of pursuing it?  Are you feeling stuck?  Life Coaching may be just the thing to get you “out of your head”, back into your body, and reconnected to your creativity, joy and strength.  Life Coaching guides you to a new perspective from the one that is not currently working for you.

Q: What Can I Expect from Life Coaching- Will I Be “Fixed” in One Visit?

A: Life Coaching guides the reshaping of behavior patterns, literally creating new neural synapses (connections) in the brain. These old mode of operandi patterns have been held for years and often a lifetime.  Additionally, negative life experiences are nine times as powerful and remembered by the body as positive ones. Therefore, creating lasting, positive behavior requires a commitment to practice and “rewiring” of old, ineffective patterns.  Life Coaching is most effective with weekly visits, for at least six weeks.  The new journey is SO worth the life you are meant to have!

Q: How Can I Make the Most of Life Coaching?

A: Be ready to be open and honest (with me, yourself, and others). Take ownership of your challenges, and empowerment in leveraging those challenges toward exciting change. Invite curiosity in the face of challenge. Indulge in playfulness and compassion as much as possible.

Listen to your body (always!)  I highly recommend keeping a daily journal, including your dreams.

Q: I’m Curious About Life Coaching, But I’m Just Not Sure Yet.

A:  Curiosity is welcomed and encouraged- it is the start of the journey to discovering the new you!  Schedule a Complimentary 25-Minute Consultation to meet with me, ask me more questions, and see how it feels.  After meeting with me, are you energized, even more curious?  What do you have to lose?  You’re already taking your first step toward creating THE LIFE YOU WANT!
