NEW Class: Postnatal Pilates
From the desk of OMBE... Prenatal and postnatal yoga are very popular here at OMBE. We've had an increase interest in offering moms-to-be and new moms the chance to continue their Pilates routine and we are doing so by way of a NEW Postnatal Pilates class! It's not very often to think of taking part in a Pilates-specific class just after having your baby (or babies!). We have you covered with this class with you in mind.
This energizing workout consists of Pilates Mat repertoire to restore your body into pre-pregnancy shape, as well as strengthening and stretching exercises that target areas related to pregnancy, delivery, and childcare. This class helps new moms reestablish the connection of the pelvic floor and abdominal walls, focus on postural alignment, and improve breath work.

Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced client, Pilates is a powerful tool for injury prevention and rehabilitation. Our certified Pilates instructor combines Pilates and physical therapy, creating effective rehabilitation sessions for clients with sport injuries, joint replacements or chronic pain such as low back pain. Pilates can also increase athletic performance, benefit prenatal and postnatal care, improve posture and develop mind-body awareness.
Our Boston Pilates studio with dramatic views of Copley Square, offers both private mat and reformer sessions.
