February is American Heart Month-to celebrate this month, OMBE has been offering specials on services good for the heart-fitness programs, nutritional counseling programs, stress-reducing services such as Pilates, massage and yoga.
This year in Boston, the American Heart Association celebrated its Wear Red Day in an effort to support ongoing research and education about women and heart disease. We thought we would dedicate this blog by highlighting some of OMBE's services that are tailored specifically for women. WOMEN'S HEALTH SERVICES @ OMBE:
Acupuncture: Acupuncture is a unique and effective system for several women's health conditions. In addition to developing core strength, flexibility and stabilizing major joints in the body, many women have found Pilates to be their secret weapon during labor and delivery. Yoga OMBE offers small yoga classes in a sunny studio tailored for women with specific health concerns. Our students include women trying out yoga for the first time and looking for an unintimidating environment. Our yoga students receive plenty of hands-on help which works well with our prenatal students, those nursing a shoveling or running injury and students looking for extra guidance in their practice.
