Yoga and You: Free Private Yoga Session
From the desk of Jennifer Prohaska, RYT...
Start the New Year off right with a new you! There are many levels to the benefits of a yoga practice and if you are looking to get started but aren’t familiar with the poses or unsure what type of class is best for you, myself and my fellow teachers at OMBE are offering a free 30 minute private session during the month of January to help answer any questions and walk you through any questions or concerns you may have. This session is also great for students looking to address any questions they may have or learn how they can take their practice to the next level.
As mentioned, yoga is beneficial on many levels. Here are some of the things you can expect to see with continued practice:
- Increasing flexibility starting from where your body is today and working forward.
- Increased lubrication of the joints, ligaments and tendons
- Massaging all of the organs of your body
- Detoxification of the body
- Strengthening and toning of the muscles
- Low impact form of exercise leading to a lower risk of injury
In a yoga class, we focus our attention inward and become more in tune with how our body and mind are speaking to us. Yoga is a wonderful antidote to stress, depression and anxiety. When complimented with a meditation practice it allows us to learn the ways to quiet our mind, using breathing exercises to stay calm while cultivating self-acceptance and compassion for our selves and others.
Make your free appointment today and start of the New Year with a healthy you!
