Check out what Sara has to say about private yoga...
From the desk of Sara Packard E-RYT….
Right now we are running a special, 20% off a 3 series of Private Yoga Instruction. I find that a lot of people think about taking private yoga but aren’t quite sure why they should or what the benefits are. Here are 3 reasons why you should sign up today!
1. If you are new to the practice of yoga or want to deepen your practice:
One of the most unique aspects of our space at OMBE is that it allows for a more personal experience. When you get one on one time with a teacher it takes that personal experience to a whole new level. Every minute of your time is spent working on what it is YOU need to work on and you alone. This is especially important if you are brand new to yoga so that you can get a solid foundation for your practice started safely and under the expert eyes of your instructor. It’s not that we don’t always try to do this even in a class setting, but this allows us to really see what’s going on; are your legs engaged in upward facing dog? Are your knees turning in during warrior series? Private sessions are also super beneficial for those who already have a foundation of their practice but want to continue to work deeper into certain poses, or more importantly specific areas of the body. The bottom line is that your time spent, and quite frankly your money, is so well spent as you get exactly what it is you need, every minute of that hour!
2. If you are in recovery from an injury:
Many of us have at one time experienced some form of injury from a sport, a dance class or from simply lifting children up and down one too many times. One of the greatest things about yoga is that there is absolutely no impact on the body and joints and the strength that gets built from the practice allows for the body to truly heal. It is especially valuable when coming to the end of your rehabilitation to simply begin moving the body again.
3. You don’t have time to take a class:
Most of us have enough going on in our lives that it can be difficult to make it to the studio during the scheduled class times. Rather than having to work your schedule around when classes are set, private yoga sessions can be fit in to when it works for you! Early mornings, lunch hour or even later in the evenings, the class happens when you say it will happen. We can also schedule duet, trio or quad sessions for you and friends or family for the ultimate personal yoga class!
Just remember that will all of our services at OMBE, including Private Yoga, they are not so much a luxury but a necessity for our overall health, well being and ultimately happiness! When we truly take the time out for ourselves to get the care that we deserve, we not only do a great service to ourselves, but to everyone in our lives.
