During this confidential consultation, my goal is to meet with the primary decision makers of your company to develop an understanding of the current  goals as well as the most significant challenges facing the business.  Following the scheduling of an initial consultation, your company will receive a consultation schedule based on our initial conversation, as well as an additional list of information or documentation I require to prepare in advance of our meeting.  Ideally, I would like to review this information one week in advance of an initial consultation.  If you are unable to collect this information in advance of our session, please contact me 48-hours in advance so that we may reschedule.  Following an initial consultation, the company will receive a detailed analysis and customized work proposal within two weeks.  Proposals may include:

At OMBE, acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutritional counseling, as well as other lifestyle modifications are combined to benefit both fertility and the overall health and well-being of each patient for the preparation of a healthy pregnancy.  Research studies from around the world have shown acupuncture to be an effective treatment modality for a wide range of underlying health conditions related to infertility.  Acupuncture can be beneficial for the treatment of amenorrhea, endometriosis, luteal phase deficiencies, male factor fertility, polycystic ovarian syndrome, premature ovarian failure, thyroid disorders, and unexplained fertility.

The integration of Western and Eastern medicine in recent research has shown that acupuncture has the ability to improve sperm counts, blood flow to the uterus, ovarian function, as well as reducing symptoms of stress experienced by most women undergoing infertility treatment.  The combination of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine with in vitro fertilization (IVF) has also been shown to increase the rate of clinical pregnancies and live births in several studies.  Following an appropriate course of acupuncture during IVF cycles, patients have experienced an increase in the number of follicles and embryos, thickening of the uterine lining, as well as less complications following ART procedures.  Additionally, patients report fewer side effects from medications, reduced anxiety, and improved postpartum recovery.  All clients trying to conceive are welcome to schedule a complimentary consult in advance of an initial acupuncture session.
